The Board of Directors will hold a short congregational meeting after the service on Sunday, Feb. 9. The purpose of this meeting is to vote on the ordination of Brenna Clanton. AUUC has been asked to jointly approve the ordination (or co-ordinate) with the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Rockville.

Those joining online will use the same link as for the Sunday service. Both those attending in person and online will be able to vote.

Brenna Clanton, M.Div., is currently a chaplain resident at Medstar Georgetown University Hospital. She is a graduate of Meadville Lombard Theological School and worked as a ministerial intern at Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Rockville. Brenna has also been a member of Accotink Unitarian Universalist Church since 2006, where she has served as a Religious Education teacher, been a member of the Board of Directors, and held the role of Worship Associate and Worship Lead as a member of the Worship Associates committee. Brenna especially loves finding new ways to be creative. Lately, that has included taking voice lessons and making pine needle baskets.

We will share information about the time and location for the ordination ceremony when details have been determined.
