Thank you to all who donated awesome holiday gifts and new warm clothing for Beacon House children and teens. From AUUC families and individuals, BH young people will receive a baby doll of color, a football & basketball, indoor basketball kits, board games, jewelry making kits & earrings, a flower garden set, cozy slippers, hoverboards, an NFL jersey, race cars, handheld game player, 2 big bags of candy, and squishmallows of all shapes & sizes.

BH children will stay warm in fashionable winter jackets, hoodies and fun pajamas, jeans & shirts, along with dozens of gloves, hand knit hats & scarves. Older youth and teens will be able to shop for gifts for themselves and their families with $25 gift cards totaling $800. This holiday season, AUUC donors filled the gift wishes of 16 specific BH children, ages 9 – 11.

Our gifts along with gifts from other DC area UU churches will be distributed at Beacon House Dec. 17 & 18. We anticipate lots of smiles among the young recipients.
