Camp Spirit Quest 2018

Join us for a week of exploration and fun! Learn about the interdependent web of existence and how all of life is connected.  Starting with the Big Bang, journey your way through our evolutionary history and celebrate the miracle of existence through fun, play, and learning.  Children from area NoVA churches are welcome to attend.

Dates:    July 23-27, 2018

Times:    9am – 3pm (Early Arrival & Late Pick-up available for additional cost)

Who:      

              – 5 -12 year-olds as Campers
              – Jr High Students as Counselors-in-Training
              – High school/college students as Counselors

Where:

On the beautiful acreage of Accotink Unitarian Universalist Church abutting Burke Lake Park.

Fees*:

$150 for 1st child; $120 every additional child; $120/child for week-long Camp Spirit Quest volunteers

What is provided:

Five days of safe and fun instruction and activities; a t-shirt; a journal; pencils; and two healthy snacks each day.  Our week will conclude with a Friday pizza party and performance for children and parents.

Registration:

General registration will open April 1, 2018.  During the month of April, priority registration is given to families in which one adult can volunteer for the whole week, followed by other families registered for the RE programs at AUUC and BRUU, followed by all other registrants.   Starting April 15, priority registration ends and registration forms are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration forms may be found at www.accotinkuu.org.
