Chili Cook-off

Chili entry fee: $10.00*   Voting Tickets: $1/ticket *

*These are suggested donations.  Additional donations warmly welcomed

Chili Cook-off contest rules:

  1. Applicants must complete and submit entry form by February 10th.

  2. Chili recipe must be an original recipe.

  3. Applicants must supply their own crock pot or hot plate, and all utensils needed to prepare and serve chili.

  4. All applicants are required to make one full pot (at least 4 quarts) of chili.

  5. All applicants are responsible for set-up and clean-up of their assigned area.

  6. Voting tickets $1/ticket.

  7. Judging: Dixie cups available for taste testing.  Tasting and judging until 12:00 noon.

  8. After voting is complete, eat up!

  9. Categories: Best Meat, Best Vegetarian

Trivia Contest rules:

  1. 6 rounds; 6 questions per round (+ bonus rounds)

  2. Teams of 3-6 people

  3. Each team must have a team name

  4. No electronic devices of any kind. If used, team forfeits round

  5. One answer per question (multiple answers = no point)

  6. One person to record answer

  7. Answer sheets handed to team on your left at end of round

  8. We do not judge on spelling, but we must be able to decipher handwriting

  9. If a team has a complaint, judges will review. Judges’ decisions are final

  10. Most points wins – 1st and 2nd places
