The 33rd Burke CROP Hunger Walk was a big success.  Final data is not yet available, but at least 275 people (and a few dogs) walked, nearly 50 local businesses supported the walk, and 321 pounds of food were donated to ECHO.  Accotink exceeded its donation goal, providing almost $1,600 toward the total with 18 people walking (and one dog) and at least nine spirit walkers. You may still donate to the walk by going to burkecropwalk.org, finding the Accotink team page, and making a donation or by purchasing reusable grocery bags at the Burke Center Parkway Giant throughout the month of November-a dollar of the purchase price goes to CROP.

Once the final data are available, it will be shared as a measure of community success!
