At AUUC pastoral care is provided by our minister and a special team of trained volunteers, appointed and guided by the minister. They assist in providing emotional and spiritual support to members and friends, extending a ministry of listening, hope, and understanding while honoring confidentiality.

This support includes:

• Visiting the ill at home, in the hospital, or in a nursing home;
• Supporting those going through a life crisis or transition;
• Comforting the bereaved;
• Sharing information on relevant community resources with members and friends in need.
