A stack of books behind a lock and chainsRacial Justice and True Accotink Colors host a monthly Banned Book Club. It meets via Zoom at 7pm on the second Tuesday of every month. Visit the event calendar to find out about our next discussion.

You don’t have to be a member of AUUC to participate. We welcome friends, family, members of other UU congregations, and also those in the community at large.

At each meeting, we discuss the month’s book and the reasons for its banning. We also discuss ways to fight book banning. You can join us whether or not you’ve read the book.

Contact us (or email Mary K.) for more information including the Zoom link and to be added to the Banned Book Club mailing list.
