In 1980, Carolyn McDade and Lucile Schuck Longview, were asked to create a worship service for the Women and Religion Continental Convocation of Unitarian Universalists. In that service, the first iteration of our Water Communion was born. Our traditions and our values are ever-evolving – Join us this Sunday for our Ingathering & Water Communion, where we’ll explore our proposed new UU Values for the 21st Century!
NOTE: Remember to bring some water with you to be poured into a shared vessel as part of our Water Ceremony – that water could be from a pond, stream, ocean, or the kitchen sink.
Question to Ponder: What is your favorite body of water?
