It’s a New Year of AUUC Generosity!

Right before the holidays and Winter Break, we delivered 140 meal packs to Halley ES for our 35 children identified as experiencing food insecurity.  Along with the gift of meal packs, we also sent 35 beautiful, hand-knit hats made by generous AUUC friends. Thank you to the knitters and to everyone who donated the food items and helped assemble 140 meal packs in December.

Our generosity continues in the New Year with our next meal pack assembly scheduled for Sunday, Jan. 26. To fill 140 bags, we’ll be needing the 10 specific food items. Whether you bring in a six-pack of juice boxes or two dozen mac & cheese microwave cups, we appreciate everyone’s donations!

It helps with our planning when you use SignUp Genius to let us know ahead what food items you wish to donate by SIGNING UP HERE. Then drop off your food donations in the specially marked black bins located in the “Collection Closet” by Sunday, Jan, 26, 2025.
