Nov. 11: Banned Book Club

Read & Discuss Banned Books

Nineteen Eighty-Four by George Orwell

Now in our third year, Racial Justice and True Accotink Colors host a monthly Banned Book Club on the second Tuesday of every month. George Orwell’s classic, 1984, is a dystopian novel about a totalitarian society where the ruling Party, led by Big Brother, controls every aspect of life through surveillance, propaganda, and thought control. It’s a must-read for the times we live in now!

Join us Tuesday, Nov. 11 at 7pm (via Zoom) to discuss this book. Contact Mary K. for the Zoom link and to be added to the Banned Book Club mailing list.
