What does it truly mean to “hold space” for another person? Drawing from more than a decade as a birth doula, Jenn Carlson explores how the sacred practice of presence, offering compassion without fixing, judgment, or control, can transform not only birth, but every stage of our lives. This service invites us to consider how holding space for one another is one of the most profound ways we build beloved community.
For Reflection: “Think of a time when someone truly held space for you by simply being present. What did they do that made you feel seen, safe, or supported, and how might you offer that same gift to someone else?”
