Every year Unitarian Universalists gather in the summer for our association’s General Assembly (UUGA). In recent years it’s been in Pittsburgh, Portland, Kansas City, New Orleans, and Baltimore. It’s where we conduct the business of our association. Where we adopted our new UU Values. Where we vote on what Actions of Immediate Witness and Statements of Conscience to support. It’s where we elect our Unitarian Universalist Association representatives. And for a handful of days, UUs can experience what it’s like to be surrounded by other UUs. For a handful of days we make a small town pop up in a major city. Join us this Sunday as Accotink members Kate McDevitt, Milton Nash, and Marsha White share about their experiences at UUGA over the years.
