Hello Accotink Families! 

It’s hard to believe that summer is almost over and autumn is upon us… I don’t know about y’all  (yes, I’m originally from North Carolina) but I am really excited to welcome cool breezes, changing leaves, colors, pumpkins, hot cider/cocoa, and some sweater weather! I am thrilled at our plans for the new year ahead in spiritual development for children and youth. We have some wonderful topics and lots of fun experiences planned.

The new schedule is up and ready for volunteer sign-ups for the autumn season (Sept. –  Nov.) and we’d like to have our spiritual development volunteers sign up as soon as possible. We at Accotink so appreciate the support and time given each week to the children and youth! THANK YOU!

This Sunday, Aug. 27, our Time for All Ages will be about the process of voting! Our spiritual development will center around a discussion time on the importance of using our voices through action and a corresponding craft to go along with it. I hope to see you there!

UUA Book Recommendation for Parents
