Get Ready for the Annual Auction!

Annual auction fun is finally here! There are two Zoom parties this week, and bidding begins this Saturday!

Join a Zoom Kickoff Party: Get auction system tips, practice bidding, and preview the catalog. Grab a drink and snacks and tune in from the comfort of your own home during the time most convenient to you:

Review the Catalogs: There are items, events, and services in both the online auction catalog and the live auction catalog. So don’t miss anything! Bidding starts Saturday, October 11 at noon and ends exactly one week later for the online auction on Saturday, October 18 at noon.

Live/Hybrid Auction: Our big auction day is Saturday, October 18. Doors open at 4:30pm. You can join in person or via Zoom.

  • Start Bidding This Saturday: Pre-bidding for the live auction is something new we’re trying out this year! Put in your bids early to save time during the live event.
  • Potluck: Bring food or drink to share so we all have enough to see us through the event. Sign up now to bring something and/or help set up.
  • Childcare: We will have programming for children and youth downstairs during the auction. Please sign up now via Realm so we will be able to plan for enough activities and childcare providers.
  • Costume Contest: This year’s theme is Masquerade, and fancy masks are available for purchase in the gallery at church after Sunday services. Put together the best costume for a chance to win up to $150 off your auction bill. The contest will take place at the start of the live hybrid auction event. There will also be a fun selfie station at the event with special props.
  • Tech Help: Bring the device (phone, tablet, or laptop) you will use for bidding to church any Sunday and find Kate M. before or after service so we can make sure you are ready and able to access the auction. Arrive early to the live event to get last-minute tech support.
  • Gondola Parking: If you arrive at the auction in style in a Venetian gondola, we will have complimentary parking available for you. There will be free parking for everybody arriving via bikes, cars, vans, trucks, etc. as well.
